Voices of Sudan
A friend of mine, David, went to Sudan earlier this year on a mission with his church. While there, he had a chance to capture the darkness that surrounds its people and its land. He visited Darfur, a war torn city in the middle of all the madness where militias have killed hundreds of thousands and millions of other have been displaced from their families and homes. This area has been so devastated by famine that it has also taken the lives of hundreds of thousands and the numbers continue to rise. He has published a book titled, “Voice of Sudan,” that tells the stories of its people and captures images of their lives. David’s goal is to let the book be the voice for the Sudanese people. To let their voices be heard. To let us be aware of the crisis that is taking place. All the proceeds from the sale of the book will go to purchasing much needed items such as food, medicine, wells, sports equipment and the likes. Please keep Sudan and this cause in your prayers.
