Hello. My name is Savio Tran and thanks for swinging by
my piece of Internet real estate. I’ve finally got it back up
again for those regulars and for our new guest, welcome.
This site isn’t about anything in particular. I like to dabble
and babble here and there, take an occasional photograph,
and try to amuse those who stop by.
Five little tidbits
- Savio means wise in Spanish. It comes from the word saber which means “to know.”
- Someone once told be I would make a good Politician or Teacher (I believe I will become one of those in this lifetime)
- I took $2000 of my student loans to play the market in 2001. The market tanked and so did my stocks after being up almost $800. That was the best $2000 lesson in market I’ve ever had. Since that low point, my portfolios have done exceptionally well.
- I have a fear of roller coasters.
- My brother and I once (2nd grade) set a big wooded area on fire in the forest beind our back yard. The fire got out of control, that happens when you start a fire with pine trees around. So the first thing we did was call mom…she put the whole thing out, about 30×30 of an area worth of spreading fire. Mom was the hero that day. We got whooped that night….
